Used my phone to test the frequency and it was spot on, pretty accurate. The included mallet and felt bag is a nice bonus too. 528hz is supposed to be good for stress reduction and anxiety relief. I need like a room full of these to bathe in.

High quality tuning fork and hammer.It's tone is a true "C" and sounds lovely. Using the hammer was able to get the tuning fork to play the note for a good minute - it's resonance is remarkable considering the fork isn't that big.Have had experience with Tibetan singing bowls and meditation. I love sound therapy and will work using this tuning fork into my practice. Have tried putting on forehead and other points for sound/vibration without much luck - I need to find someone else to ring the tuning fork and hold it in place on me.Another great use for the tuning fork is to use it to signal the start and end of a group meditation session in a yoga or meditation practice. The analogue soothing tone sure beats the sound of an iPhone going off.Definitely recommend.

When I received this item, I tested it with my clip-on guitar tuner. And, it's true to C (528) within reason (I don't have an exact hertz reader). But, for my purposes, it's close enough to C to be functional as a tuning fork.As for its claims to chakra and healing, I'll leave that to the holistic and astrology folks. I have no idea about that sort of thing. I just wanted a tuning fork to tune on the go when I have no proper tuner around.I'm happy with this product.
