We received a cappuccino maker for Christmas, and I purchased these for the resulting rich coffee. I don't like it too strong, however, so I add lots of milk and these have plenty of room for a couple shots plus the necessary amount of milk. They also would be great for eggnog, so I'm sure I will be using them a lot during the holidays. They washed up great in the dishwasher and have a sufficiently hefty feel to them. Great little cups with kind of an elegant shape.

These are not the size of an Irish Coffee, or similar glass. They are not designed that way.The description is very accurate - they are slimmer and smaller in design with a thick, heavy bottom. By design they are intended to hold your hot liquid and keep it hotter, longer. They do just that.The handles are smooth to the touch and the grip works for my hands (I wear a size medium leather glove). Some Irish Coffee style glasses (or cups) have obviously been moulded from two pieces, side by side. Frequently there is a small ridge along the joining seam, and it can quickly irritate your hand.These glasses are smooth and heavy. They are quality made. The brim is wide enough where it is comfortable to drink from and helps cool the liquid just before it enters your mouth.There are 6 glasses designed for sharing at tea parties or simply inviting company over. They are of quality where you can confidently serve them to even your most descerning in-laws.

These glasses came in a box that had no packing between or around the individual glasses. There was a simple cardboard divider that had moved, allowing the glasses to bang against each other during shipping. Since the box did not mention fragile on it, Amazon did not pack the box in the shipping box, so it just slid around. I expected to have a box of broken glass, but these tough little suckers survived! I expect these will last forever in my house now that they made it.See picture above. I measured that it will hold about 3/4 cup (6 oz.) full to the rim, or about 2/3 cup (5 oz) normally full. So, tea, double espresso, small hot chocolate, pudding/parfait, but not a full cup of coffee.The glass quality is great, clear, no visible flaws, nicely shaped. A very nice upgrade to your afternoon tea for a very reasonable price!

We like these because of how slim they are - they fit nicely in our mouth. Even though they aren't super double walled, they work great with our Pu-er Tea that we like to cook. the glasses were well made without any chips or cracks and they came very well packaged.

These glasses hold 4 oz of liquid comfortably, 5 oz if you push it all the way to the brim. The shape is akin to a traditional Turkish tea glass but this one has a handle. It would be nice if these came with corresponding saucers. Much to my dismay, mine arrived damaged with shattered glass and I returned it. However, the second set I received suffered the same fate. Unless they take measures to better protect the product, it’s quite likely the disappointment will go on.

When I pulled these out of the box, I could hear the glass rattling around inside, as if the glass were in direct contact. Usually, glasses are shipped with cardboard or some other divider keeping the glass from directly touching, so it doesn't break. One flap had either not been extended, or worked it's way out from in between two glasses, so they were banging together probably the entire time they were in transit. But, nothing was broken, so I am hoping they stay that way. The glass seems pretty thick, which is nice, given the hot liquids these are meant to hold. We haven't had the opportunity to entertain and use all of them at the same time unfortunately, but they seem really nice for the first tea my wife and I had using them. I like the shape and the thickness of the glass, would definitely recommend. (Just a suggestion to the manufacturer, please reconsider your packaging.)

My son handed me the box that brought this item and looked at me saying, "There are glasses crashing against each other." I expected all to be broken. I opened carefully and the box itself was packed well by Amazon but the items inside the sealed box from the manufacturer are poor and yes, we were lucky. There was nothing more than a thin slip of light weight cardboard that provided no protection for the tea glasses. One glass the handle was cracked and glass sitting at the bottom of the box. Yes, we were lucky 5 of the teacups were just fine. Not a crack, why I have no idea! That said it was nothing more than luck, I do not understand how all of them were not broken being lose in that box during shipping. On a positive side the teacups have a nice feel to them, and we will look forward using them in the future. That said I would not want to take a chance like this again with this product. I give it 2 stars just because the quality was good, and the shipping was terrible. Beware of the survivability of the product during shipping.
