Great decanter. It even has a molded snout where you should pour (see picture). The lid is solid glass and heavy compared to others which are hollow. A proper decanter if I may say so myself.

I own exquisite Waterford crystal decanters and this decanter stands up without giving up your first born in payment. Sturdy yet sheer, my Scotch looks, tastes and even pours (with the benefit of the contoured pouring lip) great! Don’t break the bank and buy a couple of these in total confidence.

Well made and elegant. I liked it so much I bought a second one.One item to note, the top of the decanter actually has a pour spout in the crystal design. I did not see that when I first purchased it and it has proven to be a great addition to the overall functional use of the item.

I expect LEAD-FREE crystal to not be as brilliant as leaded. However, this decanter looks like glass in spite of its many facets. See pic below for the lead-free crystal I ordered in left to right order of what looks most like leaded crystal. $60 Godinger Birmingham (immaculate!), $25 Amlong (bad neck grinding), $40 Twine, $13 Bormioli Selecta, $10 Bormiolo Dedalgo.
