Another well planned story, with terrific characters. Twisted games has all the angst and grit that is expected and equal amounts of romance and a soft, soulful coming together of two string characters. Great read!

There was so many times while reading I wished there was a laugh emoji or I could “haha” certain lines in the book. I really enjoyed this book!

Twisted Games by Ana Huang (Book 2) ReviewStar Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Character/plot rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟It took me a while to finish this book due to things happening in life, but I finally finished and I’m not disappointed. Ana has become one of my favorite authors because she knows how to write a story. The plot, characters, world-building, and how to draw you in from start to finish. I really enjoyed this book and stayed up until 4:30 AM to finish it! I loved Bridget and Rhys’ story and how Rhy reminds me so much of my husband and how Bridget reminds me of myself. Thank you, Ana, for another wonderful story.

Rhys Larsen the MAN that you are! Omg! Usually when a book is set over a 4 year period (or more) the story tends to drag. But in Twisted Games, the story was written so well I didn’t realize the time was passing. The tension and build up was perfect…Rhys determined to stay professional in his job and Bridget understanding that her title made any attractions forbidden (pretty much). However, when they finally cracked, it was on a poppin. I loved the story like and the steamy, sexy scenes were perfection. My only gripe is… they absolutely wanted to get caught with how little care they had about being caught or seen. I had an inkling about how the story would end but was still surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, better than the first actually, and will absolutely be reading the next one.

I love me a forbidden trope. Princess/bodyguard?? Um hellooo?? Who would not love that?This book is one of my favorites so far. I am envious to all the people who gets to read twisted games for the first time.The character development is amazing. How the FMC evolves into this strong powerful women while the MMC overcomes his fears. The love story was chefs kiss, the spicy scenes was chefs kiss and the little plot twist with Rhys left my jaw hanging. Love love love

So enjoyed this story of the princess and the bodyguard. Their story was sweet and she brought the romantic man out of him. From him giving her one word answers, to a lot of words of love and Forever.Narration was amazing.

The plot kept me engaged and curious enough to ponder when I wasn’t actively reading. This one was hard for me to put down and I blew through it in a matter of days when it normally takes me longer to finish a book. The spice was on point with the commanding bodyguard vibe. The perfect blend of spice and plot and very easy to read and follow.Any struggles?: I would say it was mildly predictable but it didn’t take away from the story or experience.Will I recommend and to who: If you like contemporary romance with a slightly darker theme- this is for you.

Il est largement au dessus du premier, les personnages m’ont davantage plu et j’ai aimé leurs histoires. A plusieurs reprises j’ai été émue par les personnages et tout ce qu’il leur est arrivé.Bridget est douce, pleine de vie, solaire et touchante. Elle se plaît aux Etats Unis car elle peut fuir la folie médiatique qu’elle a dans son pays. Pourtant, comme dit dans le résumé, elle va devoir y retourner de manière permanente et dire adieu à sa liberté.Rhys, ma pépite ! Un homme capable, il a tant de respect, il est juste incroyable. Il est sûrement celui que j’ai le plus aimé découvrir ! Il est prêt à tout pour protéger Bridget et son côté possessif m’a totalement séduite.Entre eux, c’est whaou ! Une énorme tension, un slow burn de qualité et ce côté interdit qu’on adore. Les scènes spicy sont plus nombreuses que dans le précédent tome, mais je les ai trouvées à l’image de notre duo !J’ai aimé découvrir certains personnages, notamment le frère de Bridget et sa famille, elle a un fort attachement pour ses proches. Mais c’est aussi plaisant de retrouver la bande de copines et de voir comment elles avancent !J’ai qu’une hâte, lire le prochain, un enemies to lovers qui je sens, va beaucoup me plaire !En bref, un excellent deuxième tome qui m'a totalement emballée et émue !
