How To Cut Jute Rope?
Wrap the tape around the position where the twisted manila jute rope will be cut. Cover an area about 6 inches long with tape.Use a knife, loppers, or a saw with small teeth to cut the jute rope for crafting. (cut in the middle of the tape area)Please make sure that the tools you use are sharp enough to cut rather than tear the natural hemp rope.

Good, Solid rope. I used if for a rope climbing. Easy on the hands.Rope is 50 feet. This rope is 4 strands (not the usual 3 strands) so I put a Flemish Eye Splice on one end that took up 2 feet leaving 48 feet.I tied a simple overhand knot every 16 inches to make it easier to climb for kids. After that, the total length of the rope was 32 feet.

We repainted our den and went with a beach house theme. We used this rope for decorative purposes in place of crown moldings. It was easy to install and looks great.

This BIG rope is perfect for wrapping a cat tree. Because it's so thick, you don't have to wrap it around over and over. And it should last longer, too. The fibers are very soft, almost thread-like, rather than a stiff scratchy jute. I've ordered other rope for the cat tree and it had an oily, petroleum smell that was overwhelming, making it unusable. This rope has no smell, and my cats LOVE it.

This rope turned out to be more than I was hoping for. I needed strong but attractive rope fir a hanging swing bed. This turned out to be the perfect choice. Great color and strength, yet very attractive. It ties nicely without slipping as do some of tye plastic or nylon ropes. Based on the success here I am going to replace my front door swing that is currently installed with nylon with this same rope. Great looking and very functional product.
