I wanted to fit an Elite bottle cage to my Pashley, which doesn't have bosses like a mountain bike, and I didn't fancy drilling and tapping. This is a very low profile, elegant solution compared with the Klickfix bottle cage adapter (which I'm not knocking, it just sits further out from the frame) and is easy to fit. The strap is longer than needed, so I trimmed it to fit and tucked it under the cage clamp. Feels very sturdy for velcro, and the rubber fits snugly against the frame. Removable, and won't damage the paint or the bike. Wish they had a UK distributor (bet they'd sell plenty here), but there was no problem with shipping from USA.

I purchased the TwoFish Quick Cage Adapter because I needed a second water bottle for hot days. I first installed this last August, removed it for the fall and winter and reattached it this summer. It takes 2 minutes to install correctly and 5 seconds to remove. One addition I made was to cut a piece of old inner tube and place it around the top tube before attaching the adapter. This is very secure and actually did not move when I had an Over The handleBars crash! The water bottle was even full. Another wipe out I had, my knee must have hit the water bottle and it twisted slightly. Better to have flexibility than to break. I do hold the adapter when removing and placing the water bottle because my bottle cages are extremely tight. This is a good product that is super easy to install and remove.

Il prodotto è buono. Lo monti e lo smonti velocemente.Sembrerebbe un po' caro, ma è una buona alternativa se manca la predisposizione per montare un portaborraccia.

I'm not able to get it totally tight, so went down the tube a little, though it won't go any further and is pretty flush. My 24 oz metal, double wall, vacuum water bottle is pretty heavy. A lighter, slightly fatter insulated plastic bottle, would probably wouldn't have budged any.My PDW cage strap through slits are too lowslim, so I can't just put the extra strap through the cage to fasten that extra bit. It is folded down a flap against the side of my cage. Extra strap, which fitting more bikes and places is a good thing. It's good to be mindful of what type of cage you're mounting. It's a nice thick strap, comes with hex screws and pre mount "bolt" that is covered to protect paints finish, although if you use another screw and it sticks out enough even a little longer screw shouldn't reach your frame. There's also a soft part that hugs the tube behind the mounting plate, which aids fit and protects your frame.$15 is a bit high, cost of on Amazon and Made in USA. That said, the details are there. I think it'd be better to get from an LBS, if you can.I'm using this with my Mezzo classic style folding bike. Also known as Ori bikes. We'll see how it holds up to brutal UV, etc.

The title/description for this item is wrong, should say "Two Fish Quick Cage Adapter". It is a bottle cage adapter for your bike. I have it installed on my bike's downtube which has no bottle bosses. The velcro/rubber secures it tightly to the tube even with a full water bottle. No complaints so far.

I mountain bike 2-4 days per week. I have been using this product for at least 4 years. It is great. I use it to mount a water bottle on my top tube. It hangs under my top tube. It totally stays put. The rubber is grippy and the velcro is strong. I would not have thought it would have worked, but my buddy recommended it to me, and he was right. Also need to mention that the velcro strap broke recently (again, this is after years of hard use), and the company sent me a complimentary replacement.

I got this to attach a water bottle holder (to hold my bluetooth speaker) to my handlebar stem. It is easy to put on, very secure (still moves a little side to side sometimes, but that is not an issue for my use) and easy to take off.

Product is good. However, with a full water bottle in a cage, the cage adaptor swivels. It does not slide down, which is good, but I constantly have to bend down to swivel it back to a centered position.

I have a small bike frame that only has brazons for one water bottle cage, which are located on the down tube -- the seat tube has none. I looked at several adapter options but others proved to be either too small for my seat tube, or they stuck out so far that there wasn't enough room to attach the cage, because it was bumping into the existing cage. For a simple looking item, the adapter does feel well made. The velcro is wide, extra sticky and long enough to fit any diameter tube. The contoured rubber is thick and feels durable. The screws that attach the cage come already inserted into the device. They also sent a set of the standard style of brazon screws. For starters, I went with the ones shown in the photo. How the screws attach to the bracket is the one thing I'm a bit doubtful about. There isn't a nut to secure the screw in place, only the threads of the plastic through which it inserts. I will be watching to see if that loosens up over time. I bought a cage separately. I went with one of the newer, sleeker designs instead of standard style to help ensure the cages weren't bumping into each other. I attached it to the adapter before putting the entire thing on my bike.It was easy to attach the adapter to my bike. The rubber is grippy, so that, combined with the extra wide, extra sticky velcro is what keeps the cage in place. Be sure the pull the velcro very tight.I have gone on one ride with it (20 miles, paved road) and it held the water bottle in place just fine. I have a feeling if I were pulling the bottle in and out, that the cage might move, but I haven't tested that yet -- and, it's not my intent to use it in that way. My plan is to simply use the cage on my seat tube as a back-up bottle holder. When my main bottle is empty, I'll switch them at my next stop.Overall, this is the best solution I've found for adding a water bottle cage to a small bike frame. I would recommend it to others who have the same issue.

The Two Fish Quick Cage Adapter is well designed and does what it claims. I use it on the seat post tube of my Trek Shift 4 to hold a spare water bottle cage. Consider getting a side entry bottle cage to use with this product such as the Zefal side mount cage sold on Amazon, as it will allow more mounting flexibility.Unlike other reviewers, I found the adapter, when tightened properly, held a full 24 oz. bottle firmly with no slippage even on the roughest trails. I like the fact that there is no drilling required and the velcro strap does not mar the bikes finish.I have only 2 minor complaints about the product: 1 - The holes that accept the bottle cage mounting screws are threaded plastic and easily strip when tightened. The use of longer cage screws backed up with nuts is an easy solution to the problem however. 2 - in my opinion, the $15+ price is a bit high for a plastic and rubber part with a velcro strap.Overall, I like the product enough to give it 4 stars and will probably order another for my wife's bike.
