Electrical switch was faulty. The switch remained in the closed position causing the a/c compressor clutch to remain permanantly engaged.

Got this to replace the old switch from my small refrigerator- Electrolux by way of Frigidaire. They could not supply switch based on model number so I selected this one based on looks. It was the wrong switch and would not fit in the available space. So the switch and the refrigerator go to the dump. Oh well.

It's a replacement that would be a royal PITA to install but at least I have it if I need it. I bypassed this device with a fuze for now and will probably be OK as long as the humidity stays low.

We bought 3 of these and not one of them worked for more than 90 seconds. This issue may have been the fault of the wiring down the line. I would like to update my review to reflect this.

Needed thermostat for a aftermarket under dash A/C. The thermostat didn't work from new and there was no customer support so, I took a chance and ordered this thermostat. It seems to work great and got a pretty good work out this past Summer without skipping beat.
