This pocket guitar is small size and light, very easy to carry around, and good for my son's guitar playing. It does not make sound, and won't disturb neighbours.

This little gadget is impressive! My daughter wants to learn how to play the guitar but before I went that far into purchasing a guitar, I got this. It is small enough she can take it anywhere and it allows her to learn finger placement without the worry of also holding the guitar. Which, for a beginner, that may become more of a downside as she will have to get used to the guitar size once she moves to that. Ease of use is great, being very mobile is awesome, the price is fantastic! I can see where it would be helpful for those just wanting to practice without taking the guitar with them. Pretty cool actually!

Great tool to learn guitar cords for a beginner guitarist like myself. Quality made. It works well and makes no noise to bother others. My only issue is that it requires you to press the buttons in a certain sequence, otherwise it shows that you got the cord wrong. You should be able to press the buttons in any order as long as you press the correct cord buttons. Thus minus a star. Regardless of that, it will still be a good cord learning tool. Great gift idea.

I got this for my son to help him figure out chords and fingerings. It's... ok. I can't really figure out the different features or how to get to specific areas of the board etc, but at least for just a simplistic view of where fingers need to be on a neck this does show you (no different than a chord chart, really) and it does give you a tactile feel of how to put your fingers on the neck. But really I think this is easiest to just look at and then translate to a guitar neck, which really makes this not much more useful than a chord chart book.

I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and I love everything related to guitar. I said this Smart Guitar practice trainer and thought it could be a great tool especially for those new to guitar. The Pros:- Good price for the hardware- It does work- The fret spacing is correct for a 25.5โ scale at the nutThe Cons:- This thing is SUPER thick! Over 28mm at the first fret. That is thicker thank a 50โs Les Paul. Unless you are Rebea Massaad or have enormous hands, this isnโt going to work well and cause hand and wrist pain.- I wish the software features was more robust. Iโm thinking modes, arpeggios, etc.Overall it is pretty good, but the thickness just makes it unusable for extended practice.
