They are A-rigs with 3 arms which is less than most but you can only have 3 hooks in California anyway. The fit, finish, and quality seem decent enough but nothing to write home about. The clasps function fine and the setup is ok. I am not the biggest fan of these and wish they had some variance in color of the swivel flashers but they do the job. Haven't caught on fish on them yet but that is probably more for lack of the right spot to throw this than the quality of the setup.If you want to try an A-rig these are a decent beginner setup but there are lots of other options as well.

This is a pack of two umbrella rigs with three trailers per head, each trailing wand has spinners and at the end a single snap to allow you to attach a jighead of your choosing. The umbrella rig weighs about 1.25oz bare and after I mounted three lightweight gamakatsu jigheads and 3 3" plastic swimbaits on them it came in right around 2oz. This would be in excess of the weight rating for a lot of standard rods, so you may want to keep this in mind when ordering as I believe it is about the lightest way you could properly rig this up.Since I didn't have the proper rod I used it on a stiff MH/F lower cost rod rated for 1oz lures and it did work ok on that. I observed it in the water near the boat and all the spinners spun well, the swimbaits stayed upright with good movement and everything worked as intended.Would give it 5 stars if the case it shipped in was long & wide enough to work as a storage case, but once you put your jigheads on it there's no way it would fit in anymore.

I own A-rigs with 4 or 5 arms, so I was a little hesitant to get this 3-armed one. However, I found that it it is a little easier to rig and store without having as many arms to deal with. Fully expanded, it has a nice wide profile coming through the water. Both rigs come packaged in a plastic tube, and that may be the best part to me because I just put them back into the tube when I'm done - it's good for storing and makes them easy to find when I want to through them again.

I got these for my partner who bass fishes. He said these are a little sturdier and bigger than that last set I got him. He said he thinks it will help attract a bigger fish. The bearing swivel at the end is pretty smooth and the snap is pretty durable. The tubing they came in is also a nice touch which will make it nice to store them without snagging onto anything in the compartment. They do not come with any swimbaits or hooks but it is still a pretty good product at a reasonable price.

These offer great performance at a value based price point. In my state AZ only allowed to run two hooks per line. So I do 2 large baits and a willow leaf or Colorado blade on a swivel for last one... or alternatively I do another bait smaller sized and held by wire bait screw.Anyhow these do in fact catch more of the aggressive fish and sometimes two at a time. I very much like using them and suggest a bit heavier rod as they definitely have some weight.

I guess if you are fishing for small pan fish with nothing over 2 lbs then this may work for you. As you can see in the photos, the weak link is the super thin split rings that attach the swivel to the wire and the clip. I had this out trolling and it did pretty well until I hooked into larger fish. Those wimpy split rings just bent and I lost 2 fish and the lures. I guess the upside is that the fish now have jewelry to show off for a while to their buddies. So if you are looking to catch a trophy fish, this Alabama rig is probably not going to work without re-rigging the terminal hardware.

This is just an ok rig to me. It looks good, but closer inspection tells me that it is built on the cheaper side. I used mine once and decided I needed to upgrade all of the swivels. This added a little weight to it, and this is not something you would want to try and use with lighter equipment. I like the concept, and wish they used better materials while building them. I’d probably suggest looking for one of better quality.

Thought I’d give these a shot, and I wish I had not. On the 3rd cast all three swivels separated, sending $12 worth of jig heads and swim baits to the bottom of the river. All that was left was the wire and willow leafs. I’d hate to see what would have happened if a fish had taken it. Don’t waste your money on these rigs, they will cost you fish and money.
