worked great to "jump" over the adjustable height hardware mechanism of a sit/stand desk when installing a keyboard tray

Works well to drop keyboard below height adjustable support bar. Holes did not line up for 3M keyboard tray but drilling a couple new holes solved the problem and worked well.

I bought this not realizing my keyboard tray was a different brand. It was definitely worth the work of making it adapt, but it does also lower the keyboard track about 2 inches. my desk is very tall, but I do bump my knees on the track sometimes. I think a 1 inch option would be very useful. It was also a pain in the butt to install alone, but that can be solved by having an assistant hold the keyboard track while you screw in the screws

This solved my problem n I was able to use the keyboard tray I already had instead of buying a new one with a shorter track. Spent a fraction of the money I would have spent on a completely new tray system. Love it!

I had to get this kit in order to install a keyboard tray I purchased for my adjustable height desk. This kit was not an exact match to the keyboard tray, but I was able to make it work by drilling new holes in the keyboard tray to accommodate the kit. Be aware, it may not work with every brand of tray. Otherwise it seems sturdy and has been up for a few months now and has continued to work as I needed it.

I have a couple of sit-stand desks that have a crossbar that goes right down the middle. I love the desks but I also can’t really work without a keyboard tray. I made some custom piece of hardware for one of the desks but it was a tremendous pain and I didn’t want to deal with it again, so I went shopping and found this. This product fit two different keyboard tray sliding tracks I had on hand, and it gave me just enough clearance to install the keyboard tray. The brackets did have a slightly sharp edge that I filed down just to be extra safe but it wasn’t strictly necessary (you would never come into contact with that part after installation). More importantly this product was completely perfect for the task. I wish I had known about this when I worked in an office, they had the keyboard drawer installed diagonally to deal with a similar situation. Just a great product.

I installed this set to support an old Humanscale keyboard tray when I bought a new desk. The product description says this elevation kit is only for FERSGO keyboard trays, but it was significantly less expensive than the Humanscale equivalent. Turns out the holes for the FERSGO are spaced 3/32" wider than the holes on the Humanscale keyboard tray so technically it doesn't fit. I put a metal bit into a Rotozip and turned the FERSGO standoff into a slot in about five minutes. I attached the FERSGO to the desk and now I have a very solid, nicely positioned keyboard tray. Clearly, I violated the instructions and can't return the product, but I have exactly what I needed. Just as a note, I wore out the metal bit which cost just as much as the difference between the Humanscale spacer and FERSGO kit, but the Humanscale product was only available used. I didn't save money, but I got a good product.

Built a top for a standing desk (top was oak boards glued together and desk frame was a jarvis desk by Fully) and due to the cross brace I could not mount my under desk keyboard tray. This worked great even though I had a different brand of keyboard tray. Mounting holes lined up without any issues. The only issue I have with it is that it tends to vibrate the desk if I start typing too aggressively. While this generally isn't a problem, it makes video calls a bit awkward since it looks like I'm on a roller coaster. Then again, 2020 has been like a roller coaster so maybe it's appropriate.

My desk has an underframe that is shorter than the length of the extensions, so I waste probably an inch maybe more in space because the bracket is too tall. I'm maxing my desk out on the legs already, so I can't raise it more and this one inch is the difference between it being comfortable and kinda meh. If there were a couple of options in height for the bracket kit that would be preferable. I really like this keyboard tray and didn't want to write this review given they are very responsive, but with the steep price and additional materials required (this mount and my time), I would like to see these be adjustable or multiple sizes to better suit different desks.
