This mat is enormous! The top feels like a front door mat with stiffer fibers, while the back side is like a thickened, extra rubbery (extra non slip) shelf liner. It is thin enough that it can be easily cut to size if needed. But it doesn’t feel like it’ll unintentionally rip either.It’s very large, I’ll probably cut out a piece to put by my patio doors. I am using it in my kitty litter room, because no litter mat seems to get everything, and the cats end up tracking it all over the house. I like stuff like this that you can find a million uses for.While they are stiff, the fibers are short enough that the mat could easily be cleaned by washing or vacuuming if needed.

I got this rug for my basement. It arrived folded but once I put it on the floor, the creases evened out quickly because this rug is so thick. This is a low pile but has sturdy fibers similar to an outdoor mat. It is rather large and would easily fit both our washer and dryer. The rubber backing is thick and also prevents it from sliding on the floor. This rug seems like it would last a long time and appears and feels to be made of high quality materials. The color is as expected. Although it is sturdy, You could easily take a box cutter to customize the size of this if needed. I think this is a great basement rug because it is sturdy similar to an outdoor rug but is comfortable to walk on thanks to the rubber backing. I think this is a great value.
