My dog is safe...and I feel bad while she learns that it is OK to go outside, just not near the fence. Her favorite past time was to find weakness in my fence, now she acts like the yard is lava (sadly).The included wire is ALMOST enough to fence in 2 acres, but not quite.The posts on the collar stick out a good bit, even the smallest posts. She is short haired and those posts very clearly keep the collar at an angle. If they made smaller or even flush contacts, I'd purchase them. But, as I said, my dog is now safe and stays in the fence. She is a expert excavator AND climber (even with barbed wire at the top), but now she will stay inside the fence.

This was very cost effective. Installed it ourselves and our dog was hesitant at first as she didn't understand the collar, it is a little bulky for her small frame. She waits by the back door and then goes out and just patrols and runs the whole yard. I wasn't sure what she would do the first time she saw a rabbit, she is a hound dog, but she chased it across the yard and stopped at the fence. This beats when she ran around our entire neighborhood chasing a rabbit! It works great!
