This E-PASS Uni toll pass is a lifesaver! I used it on a road trip across multiple states, and it worked perfectly at every toll — no issues at all. It was easy to set up and attach to my windshield. I love that it works in so many states, especially along the East Coast and Midwest. No more stopping for cash or guessing which pass works where. It’s portable, reliable, and makes driving stress-free. Best part — it’s a great value for the price. You get coverage in 19 states with just one device, and there are no monthly fees like some other options. Highly recommend if you travel across states!

Purchased August 2024 and to date absolutely no issues. I have swapped the transponder between personal cars and rentals with ease. Reloading is super easy with Apple Pay. I’m truly happy with the transponder!!

I LOVE this little thing! It is excellent replacement for the EZ-pass to use when going through toll booths and it's accepted in all states! You download the app and set up an account and add some money to your balance and then when you go through the toll booth, the funds will be deducted from your balance within 1-2 days. It's perfect for road trips and when you don't have cash or time to stop at the booths. The transponder just attaches to your windshield (I recommend putting it right next to, slightly under your rear-view mirror.) and it works like a charm! No fees associated with it and it was only $15! You can even move it back and forth between vehicles so you can use it wherever, whenever you need to. Just don't forget to update the license plate information in the app when you do switch them out!

I bought a Delaware E-ZPass back in late 2017 at one of the Delaware rest stops, the reason being the fact DE version doesn't charge admin and/or "maintenance" fees unlike some other states. I rarely used the pass, perhaps around 20 times per year, and the only reason I had it is the sheer convenience of not having to stop at toll booths, and the ability to use toll roads on very rare occasions due to road and/or traffic conditions. I didn't really care for "discounts" some states offered because it would be rarely used. It was one of the older style ones that had a primary (non-rechargeable) lithium battery inside that's supposed to be good on an average of 10 years. That thing worked great when I first got it.Fast-forward 7 years and I started getting toll due mails, signifying the battery is probably getting too weak. 7 years of lifespan with rare usage when the advertised lifespan is 10 years is less than ideal. Additionally, when I tried to get it replaced, they offered me the same battery-powered one for $15. Instead, I chose to go with the Uni Pass as that seems to work wherever the E-ZPass system is used, and I don't have to worry about the battery dying since it doesn't use one.The E-PASS Android app used to manage the Uni Pass was simple to use to register the device, account, and vehicle. It does require a valid U.S. driver license for the purpose of account registration, as well as your vehicle type and license plate. In regards to some people having trouble figuring out which number to input during the device registration process, it's the one that says "FL ID". I didn't even have to manually input the number as the app has a built-in barcode reader that did that for me. If you scan the wrong barcode, it'll tell you to scan the other one.I never bothered to use the E-ZPass DE Android app. According to some reviewers, loading money using E-ZPass apps requires a transaction fee. On the other hand, I loaded $100 on my E-PASS account and it was loaded with $100 usable credit, with my bank statement showing it charged me exactly $100, meaning no transaction fee.If you're like me who seldom use the E-ZPass, not wanting to deal with fees and don't care about "discounts," but have it just in case for the sake of convenience, transitioning to the Uni Pass is a no-brainer.

Easy to set up. It states it works in Ohio but when we drove through Ohio with it, the sign at the toll booth said EzPass not valid. We had no problems with it in PA.

I purchased a UNI pass transponder in Canada and successfully activated it using my home address. I also registered my Ontario license plate number with the account.Key features and experiences:Cross-Border Compatibility: The transponder functions correctly on most US toll roads.Mobile App Management: It comes with both Android and Apple mobile apps, which you find very convenient for:Managing your account activities.Easily changing the registered vehicle (useful for rental cars).Checking the log of toll activity.Update Lag: You've noticed that sometimes there's a delay before toll charges from different states appear in the app.Overall Performance: Despite the minor setup issue, the transponder works great for its intended purpose.Postal Code Issue and Workaround:During the activation or registration process, I encountered a minor issue where the system only accepted US-formatted ZIP codes and wouldn't take my Canadian postal code directly in the designated field.I successful workaround was to enter "00000" in the main postal code field and then write your correct Canadian postal code in the second address line (Address Line 2).I confirmed that using this workaround has caused no subsequent issues with the transponder's function or billing.

UK buyers be aware you cannot set it up on line as the website cannot cope with non US and Canada addresses. You have to phone their call center to complete the set up. Doe this from the USA using their toll free number.
