Other reviews say this product is flimsy. It is not too sturdy, but if you treat it with care and touch it gently every time you are parking it will last very long. I have been using mine for about two years an it looks like knew. Perhaps the batteries died because the flashing lights are not always blinking, but I dont need them. I park my pickup in a tight garage and this product prevents me to accidentally hitting the wall. Is not sturdy but is sufficient and great for the price.

I said that it isn't very sturdy, but that isn't a bad thing. I bought one for our bigger car so we would know how far, but not too far when parking in the garage. I bought one for the second car because it works so well. I light the flashing lights, because it's funny, but after replacing the battery once, I decided we don't really need the lights. It is very easy to put it together. Easy to use. It makes a big difference in our garage.

Spent much time trying to find a stronger and more stable stop sign, but what I purchased is all that is available. Purchased two stop signs. Poles are incredibly wobbly and unit will overturn very easily. Attached additional metal pole to one unit and encased the other pole with PVC pipe . Work better, but too bad the manufacturer does not stabilize the unit by using thicker and heavy metal on the pole. Other reviewers had the same problem, but nothing has been done to correct the issue.

This is a good purchase. This device enables us to park our cars in the garage by accurately gauging the distance. When you assemble it, it appears flimsy. But that flimsiness is to allow the stop sign to be touched by your vehicle without loosing its position. I bought two and my husband and I like this product
