Here's a real useful garden tool. I found it while out running about five years ago. It was left at an abandoned work site so I picked it up and brought it home for my garden tools collection. At first I couldn't figure out what special type of shovel it was or what I'd ever use it for. Then I started to use it for digging round holes for planting potted plants I bought at the nursery. Well, It worked a lot better than any spade I had. Then I dug a couple post holes with it. Real good results! Now I use it for all sorts of things. It's just a handy tool. It's very strong and well bit. There's U.S.A. stamped into the metal. The D handle makes it real easy to use. The handle and other wood, probably Ash, is sturdy and strong, albeit somewhat weathered.
