My couch ate my expensive brass seam ripper so I decided to go with something less expensive. These are surprisingly good and the flat-ish handle keeps them from rolling off the table (or couch arm!). I'm always misplacing my tools when I'm in a sewing frenzy so it's great to have several pairs on hand. They are sharp so they can be used as a seam ripper is intended...by putting the red dot on bottom,lifting the seam up a bit with it, and running the ripper down the entire length of the seam in one easy motion.

Buying this item in bulk is always great for ppl who are always sewing!!! I always misplace mine, and here they are a lot cheaper than at the sewing supply store! Great quality!!

Being a equilter disassembling old bluejeans I go through a lot of rippers this one seems to be doing the job quite nicely just wish it had a smaller point
