Easiest solution imaginable for what became a stinky trash can. I have a super sensitive nose, and any time we threw out food packaging that had even the slightest hint of going rancid in the trash after a few days, our whole kitchen would smell. We had gotten into a habit of taking out the trash every few days, which felt like a waste of plastic bags. I bought this carbon filter square, put it in the pull-out trash enclosure under our island and voila! Smells are gone! Carbon filters really are amazing...

Is a bit smaller than the one it replaced but works well and absorbs odors. Easy install. Used it in my Home Zone Trash/ Recycle bin.

I am not at all sure that this works. I had to cut them in Half to fix in the door of my trash can and that was a struggle. But, not sure it really prevents the scent in the trash can, so, I simply avoid putting anything foul in my trash can.

Got it about a week ago and seems to be working great. You do have to fold it a bit for the itouchless 13 gallon can.

Took a while to arrive. Definitely no where near the quality of the OEM version. You can tell when you compare Them these are much more porous

Starting working right away. I had run out of filters from another manufacturer purchased probably a couple of years ago, knew the last one's use was up when odors were evident anywhere near the trash can. Found these on Amazon, good price, good reviews, good size so decided to try. Put one in the smelly trash can just to see how well it worked. Did not take long before odors were gone. These will be my Go-To trash can filters from now on. The others lasted about 6 months, these say 3 months which is fine as long as they continue working this well.

I ordered these as replacements for my Itouchless 13 gallon can. As another reviewer stated they are a little bit larger than the filter holder but they are easy to cut. I actually just folded mine over to fit. As far as odor absorbtion they are fantastic. The can does a great job of sealing odor in when closed but I was starting to notice nasty trash smell whenever I opened it. Swapped in this filter and the odor is almost completely gone! Needlesss to say I'll be using these instead of the name brand from now on, especially since they're a quarter of the price.
