I had broken a little part of my water dispenser and had to keep it locked whenever I wasnt using it to keep water from pouring all over the floor. This was easy to change out after watching a quick YouTube video. Works as advertised.

What Broke: The small plastic arm connected the spring. This causes the "chute" mechanism to auto shut off when getting ice or water. That wasn't working so when you pushed for water or ice it never snapped back to shut off.Repair was simple. I removed a total of 6 screws. Plastic faceplate. Then the front touch panel and finally this part.Item worked perfectly for my Frigidaire FGHS2655PF2. Solid replacement and easy install and fit.Tip: Take pictures as you go of the wiring and hose placements so you can put it back the way you found it.

Put on my Frigidaire Gallery unit and it works very well. Others have talked about a different wiring system but it is due to the new unit have a slightly different lighting apparatus from the old units and now with LED lights built in and in a slightly different location. Easy installation on this OEM part taking me less than 15-20 minutes to install. Highly recommend
