If you want a budget friendly bathtub faucet spout that looks sleek and functions well, this may be a good option. It does say that you need a threaded ½" copper pipe that protrudes not much more than 2" from the wall, but that is incorrect, as it comes out of the box, you want one that is not threaded. If however, like me, your pipe IS threaded, and protrudes about 4", this may also work for you, as it did for me. All you need to do is unscrew the plastic copper tube adapter that is glued into it, this does take a bit of force, but the glue will break, leaving you a threaded inner metal ½"npt fitting inside. Just put some thread tape or pipe dope on the threads of your pipe, screw it down tight, and you're good to go! Either way, installation is very quick and easy. And the plastic material the inner tubing adapter is made of seems quite strong and includes a pre-installed O-ring, so should seal well. Overall a great value!As always, if I encounter any issues or think of anything else to add I'll update this review!!
