This is a very tough assembly! The band that goes across the stool is way too short. You need brute strength to pull it across. I was very close to returning it.

The NIVERCE universal camping footstool works well, is sturdy, and easy to set up. I'm glad I got it because I recently got a larger camp chair that's an awkward size for me. Having the footstool makes the chair more comfortable. It is small and easily tucks into its carrying case. It's small enough to throw into a tote or backpack.

I recently used the Universal Camping Chair Foot Rest, and it’s a game changer for comfort! It’s easy to assemble, lightweight, and super sturdy thanks to its 3 stable supporting legs. For a portable one, its pretty good quality and sturdiness. Four of the five legs have the elastic interior band to make it easy to snap in and keep the legs in place. All the legs for nicely. It is a bit hard to get the net foot rest on because of the tension. I wish the top was full fabric to give better support to bare feet, rather the line down the middle.

I've been searching for a good foot rest to use when camping. I have great chairs, but really like having a place to put my feet up while relaxing around camp. I've tried several different small folding seats, but none of them have been right and don't handle the weight of my feet all in the middle, causing the fabric to sag down. No good! Then I found this one designed for feet and it is ideal.What I like about this design is that it's very small overall and weighs very little. It also packs up very small and has a storage bag. It's not bigger than it needs to be, like my previous purchases, and is very tight when setup, making for a much better place to rest my tired feet. Finally, I can stop looking for the ideal foot rest!

I have some Cascade brand high-back camping chairs that I really love. This item is a very similar aesthetic and form factor, and I was delighted to find that I can fit it into the bag for my chair, which is already very ergonomic and easy to take around. Honestly, even though it's small I wouldn't want to lug around an extra thing just for a footrest, but it's great that it fits into my existing setup seamlessly.Similar to that style of chair, it can be difficult to put this together, especially the first time. Don't give up if you're having trouble! Once the fabric stretches a bit it gets easier. This has a little pull strap to help, but it can still be a bit unwieldy; it's hard to get a grip on a point that won't spin out. I'm already the kind of person that gets asked to open jars etc, and this was a challenge for me. If you can get it just right it does sort of pop right in, it's not purely a matter of brute force, but be ready for a bit of a challenge.

This camping foot rest is compact & working well. It comes with no instructions on how to set it up, so you’ll have to refer to the video in the product listing. I found it to be a bit more difficult to the get end of the sling hooked onto the frame than in the video, but I was able to work it on after a bit of fiddling.Once setup, it really does work great & is nice & sturdy. Even though it’s not marketed as such, I’m an small-average sized woman & actually sat on it just to see what would happen & held up just fine. Not exactly the most comfortable thing to to, but it held...strong little bugger.I like that it comes with a nice netted storage bag too. Folds up to a nice small size that’s perfect for travel. All in all, it’s a good little foot rest that I can surely recommend.
