XIHADA Universal Remote General Programming Steps:
1)Note, holding the universal remote with the keychain on the bottom First, for the entry gate.
2)On this universal remote, hold down button 1, and then press button 2 FOUR times.
3)Then release both buttons, The LED of universal remote emits a flash every 2 seconds, indicating it is ready to start learning codes.
4)Place your original entry gate remote very close to the universal remote , or have the original remote back to back / face to face
touching the XIHADA universal remote, hold down / press your original remote button to open the gate until the LED of
universal remote starts to flash quickly, indicating that it is now learning codes from your original remote.
5)While the LED of universal remote is flashing, press one of the four buttons of the universal remote where you want to store,
the remote’s code just copied, until the led will turn off.
6)For the garage door openers, use the same process above. However, one more step is needed. The one more step is
– press the LEARN button on your garage door opener (the mechanical unit that opens the door).
The LED on your garage door opener should be ON.
7) Next, just press the same button you programmed on the universal remote. The lights on your garage door opener should
either flash or go on or off depending on the brand of the opener. Now you can use the universal remote to open your garage door.

4) Place your original intellicode remote very close to the universal remote or have your original remote back to back / face to face touching the universal remote , hold down your original remote button to open for long time (sometimes about 8-10 seconds)
the LED light of universal remote should eventually light up solid, and then followed by flashing quickly, indicating that
it is now learning codes from your original remote.
5) While the LED of universal remote is flashing, press any button of the universal remote where you want to store,
the remote’s code just copied, until the led will turn off. Now you can also release the original remote button.
6) Press the LEARN BUTTON on your Garage Door Opener Mechanical Unit,the LEARN BUTTON light should now be solid.
Press your ORIGINAL remote button once to remove the solid light.
7) Press the LEARN BUTTON again, the light on LEARN BUTTON will start blinking, press the button you just programmed on the Universal Remote, the LEARN BUTTON’s codes are copied.
8) Finally, the LEARN BUTTON returns to solid light, press the LEARN BUTTON once more to remove solid light. Or repeat the STEP 6 to programme another Universal Remote.

I thought I would try this based on promising online reviews. It is simple to program, and it learned my LiftMaster garage door openers seamlessly. I challenged it with a Ghost Controls gate opener and it appeared to learn the code, but it did not open the gate. Programmed successfully to a Nice brand gate opener and Genie Intellicode garage. For Nice gate, included instructions worked.For Genie Intellicode, throw out the included instructions and follow these steps:1) Press LEARN on your opener overhead unit. The unit’s light will blink.2) Place your cloning remote into clone mode (hold button #1 while pressing #2 four times). Your clone will blink slowly.3) Hold down original remote button while close to cloning remote.4) Cloning remote should eventually light up solid, followed by fast blinking. At this point press whichever button you want to program for the cloning remote. Now you can also release the original remote button.5) Your overhead unit’s LEARN light should now be solid. Press your ORIGINAL remote once to remove the solid light.6) Press overhead LEARN again (blinking light), press your cloning remote selected button (solid light), press it once more to remove solid light.7) Grab yourself a beer to celebrate, it now works.Good luck

Love this remote. I have button one programmed to my garage door and button 2 to my gate opener. I have been using them for 2yrs now and love them.

This works as designed. I was able to use my original fob to program this one and verified that it is able to open my gate. Note that if you are trying to program multiple buttons with the same fob, you may need to wait a minute before programming the next button. Or simply try again - I don't know if it's the fault of the source fob or this remote, but it doesn't seem to work if you try to program one button too soon after you just programmed one.Yes, I've started from the first step each time. This is a minor problem so I'm not taking off any stars, especially since it's difficult to find a remote that can be programmed like a Homelink mirror.

The battery has been replaced several times since I purchased this remote. The remote might be faulty since it drains my battery in two days. I have purchased the same remote from the same seller and the previous remote never gave any battery issues.

I am looking for available self programming for garage remote I failed 1time and I searched many times finally, I got right one ! I am so happy to copy for essential fob !I recommend this If you have rolling and high securiy remote will programming easy way !!!

I am very satisfied with this purchase. I recently bought a condo and I have a detached garage. They gave me a big old chunky garage clicker, which I have to carry around with me every single time I leave the house in order to open up the garage and get to my car (or otherwise insert the actual key and struggle to make it pull up manually which is a hassle). Get all my belongings, and then grabbing up my big old clunky garage door remote, and heading out the door was a super duper hassle. Plus the button on the chunky remote would click at the faintest touch, so I was constantly worrying if I had clicked it on my way back after getting home and leaving the garage door open all night.....Anyway, this thing is a life saver. I received it today and so far am EXTREMELY happy with it. I will update this review in the event that any problems do begin to occur.(1) DesignThis thing is actually quite stylish. It is thin and small and has a very nice "soft" touch to it that makes it feel high quality. There are four buttons. Pushing them is easy but not so sensitive that the faintest jolt in your pocket will activate them (in other words, if you want to open the garage, you'll need to intentionally push the button; it won't open by mistake just because you have it in your pocket). Also, and this is a big one because it was something I was looking for before I bought and couldn't tell if this had - this does work to put onto a key chain. It has a space on the bottom where a string slips through (included in the box) and then the string attaches to a little hook that you can attach to a key chain. Very nice and convenient.(2) PerformanceSo far very good performance. I have tested it from about thirty feet away from garage (with both the door open and closed and within a vehicle) and it receives the signal flawlessly.(3) Set-UpSet up was easy enough. Hold the number one button down while pushing the number two button four times. The remote starts to blink. Press the button of your original garage clicker to transfer signal. Then push whichever button (1,2,3 or 4) on this clicker to assign the signal to a button. Takes about 30 seconds.** For mine, after I completed the above step, I then needed to "authorize" the clicker with my garage door opener. Inside your garage on the back of the box, there should be a "Learn" button. I brought this clicker in there, pushed the learn button, then pressed the assigned button on my remote, and this device was instantly accepted and began working.
