A universal hitch step being used to more easily access the bed of a truck.

Developed and designed in the United States the universal hitch step is the perfect accessory for your vehicle. Constructed from cold rolled steel that is machine bent and welded for strength and rigidity into a paddle step with multiple openings to reduce weight. The steel is protected with a multi-stage textured powder coat that includes additives for corrosion and UV fading for durability from the elements. Designed to fit a standard 2" receiver mount and measuring in at 18" wide and 5.5" step depth, this will fit most anyone who needs a hand getting an extra step up. The kit includes a standard hit pin and anti-rattle stabilizer plate to keep the step secure and rattle free.

  • The paddle on the Universal Hitch Step measures 18" wide x 5.5" deep x 1" tall.

  • We do not recommend mounting this step to a 2.5" hitch with a 2" conversion sleeve because you may have issues with installation and fitment.

A great addition to your truck and very durable. Over two years installed and it’s been Rick solid. It has saved me twice from low speed rear end hits and no damage to the truck itself. I have pulled out small tree stumps using this with a chain and tow straps alike. I have even pulled another truck out of sugar sand with ease using it and two straps. Works pretty good as a step to get in the back of the truck as well. Add a few straps of skaters tape for a less slippery purchase for your boots.

I love this thing. It's sturdy as hell. I am a woodworker and haul wood exceeding my pickup's bed length. This really helps with provided attachment points for tiedown straps to tie down wood. I loop a soft strap through it and attach it to my straps. Very convenient.

Looks good on a Tesla Model Y - But not enough room to install the stabilizer plate. Need to find a solution to the rattling....
