I only sharpen my mower blades a couple of times per year, so I probably didn’t need this many stones but I’ll probably never need to buy more for the rest of my life. 6 sharpening stones, 3 of two types, and a balancer. This and a drill or electric screwdriver is all you’ll need to sharpen your blades.If you’ve used these kind of sharpeners before, you know what to expect. These are typical in quality, and will get the job done.

A lawn mower blade sharpener is not something most people use very frequently, so I've only had the opportunity to use this item once. Having said that, it seemed to do a very good job sharpening the blades of my Black & Decker electric lawn mower. There a noticeable improvement in ease of mowing the lawn after sharpening the blades, which hadn't been sharpened in quite a while.It took a bit of time to get used to using this, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy to use. And it's way more convenient and less expensive than taking your lawnmower into a blade sharpening shop.I would recommend this item.
