The outlet thread of the gas storage tank must match the inlet thread of the pressure regulating valve in order to be used correctly. Simply connect the gas storage tank with the fresh cream dispenser using a gas pipe and thread adapter before use, slowly release the pressure, and it can be easily used. Fresh whipped cream is the way to go for desserts. The non-dairy stuff is plastic, and pressurized cans are expensive and wasteful. The nitrous oxide charger cartridges are likewise wasteful and expensive. In my area I can get 20, 30, and 60 pound cylinders of gas. The local dealers don't like to stock multiple grades, so it's USP grade (and also approved for food service).The AmazWhip Universal N2O Pressure Regulator allows you to use bulk gas for your whipped cream, saving money and avoiding danger of chemical contamination.
