KEY POINTS FOR SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION
You need to put the key in, open it all the way, pull the black plastic bar thing up and close the key part slightly so it holds the black plastic bar in place. Then the metal strip comes right out. I've removed them a couple times from my car and it just gers easier. They whistled a lot but I put them closer together and barely hear anything.

Relatively easy install. Kinda weak looking good but has held up well so far at highway speed and half a dozen trips.

I used these on my 2018 Toyota Corolla, and wasn't super impressed. The worked, but made me pretty nervous. I used them once to bring my extension ladder to work, and once to carry home 3 sheets of 1/4" plywood. Nothing even near max load capacity. The fit on the car wasn't great, which first made me nervous. I made sure they were as solid as I could get them, and rolled with it. Then, with the ladder specifically (which weighs around 40lbs), I noticed that the bars were starting to bend. They held, but that was enough to make me decide I wouldn't use them again.

Was suppose to be a 48in rack but was a 43 in instead. Doesn't fit on my truck
