Could work good for someone. It was to universal. The bottom tray was way too big for a normal size battery. It will hold a battery down and in place. But just not what I was looking for.

The stainless tray is constructed well and the supplied stainless hardware did the job (although I ended up using the clamp and rods from my original battery tray as these were better suited for my needs). I will definitely buy again.

Normal battery is a half inch too long for tray. Had to bend one lip down for fit. Width is good. Nice tray. Also, the upright rods are not stainless unfortunately.

Instructions not included which really stinks. Apparently the Chinese manufacturers think the rest of the world knows what they are thinking. There are two "L" shaped pieces that are not shown in the photo. I can only assume that once they are modified they are intended to somehow accept the hold down bolts and interface with the top clamp. The "T" nuts are a nice touch and work very well once you figure how to use them on the top clamp. The item is well built and since it is stainless steel it should not rust. Not a drop in item. Be prepared to spend some time working on a method of bolting it to your vehicle. Then you need to figure out and modify the top clamping pieces to hold your battery in place. Since this was going in my '51 Chevy I spent some time installing it (about 2 hours) but I wanted it to look good.

I bought two of these for my boat. I had trouble finding a metal marine battery tray and ended up with this. They’re great quality and medium/heavy duty and should last for a long long time. The battery hold down brackets are poorly designed and were confusing to figure out so I attached some photos of how it should look. I did have to cut some threads off of the hold down rods to fit my battery but that’s not necessarily bad because that means it’s most versatile and has capabilities to house extra tall, medium, and short batteries. Final thoughts: great price, great quality, works excellent, versatile, subpar design.

Get something else if you’re not really able to cut metal weld drill holes or anything like that. Comes with no instructions and the only way I can think to mount it bent the rod holders. So I had to make my ownIf anyone wanted to see how to use the top.
