This strap was designed to fit an Odyssey PC1200 in the stock battery compartment in your Can Am X3. Will NOT work with the UTV INC battery cover. *Works with the Odyssey PC1200 battery and Full throttle 560R battery.

Used this bracket for a XS Power PS1200L and it works fine.

Right off the bat, the bracket is a little bit over priced, in my professional opinion. That being said, I did construct two small modifications. On the first mod, I applied a thin strip of weather stripping to the inside of the bracket. I did this to protect the battery itself from being scarred or marred by the bracket as well as to provide added pressure from the bracket, in efforts to keep the battery from slipping or moving during travel, especially on rugged terrain. Then at the end of the bracket where it bolts down, my X3 (a 2023) does not have the center cut-out or notch as the ones on its predecessor. So, as I contemplated cutting out the notch as the instructions state to do, I decided to drill a quarter inch hole and push the mounting screw through and apply a nylon hex nut with a flat washer. Worked perfectly! And as it turned out, the bolt lined up perfectly with the existing holes on the skid plate underneath so a 6" extension with a socket was all that was needed to bolt down.

Worked great for my machine and pc1200! Did add a small strip of weather stripping under the top to hold down battery better but not complaining at all. For the cost vs others costs, I’m very happy with it and highly recommend!

The powder coating was light or absent in some locations.I touched it up with some black rattle can Just to make sure I don't have any rust laterI also installed a thin layer of adhesive backed neoprene foam on the inside of the bracket where it contacts the battery. This reduced vibration, wear, and just should have been there in the first place.I replaced all the hardware with stainless, as black oxide would have been rusted before the first washOtherwise decent kit.

This is a sturdy well engineered piece. Nice that it uses a j hook style faster and stainless hardware. Much more robust then the factory hold down. A little pricy but does exactly what it is supposed to.

You'd be better off making your own battery strap. This does not properly fit the pc1200. I had to install foam between the battery and the strap to get it to hold tight, otherwise the battery would just move around as if the strap wasn't even there. Also, the screw included with the kit was not long enough. I had to get a longer one.
