I have replaced many toilet fill valves over the years so this was an easy job for me. This unit fit without problems. Adjusting water level was simple and the filling was quiet and shutoff was quick and repeatable. There was no leakage. If you have a problem with your toilet fill valve, this product is cheap and effective. Keep one of these on hand as well as a spare flapper and you will be ready to resolve most running toilet issues.

I recently used the Universal Toilet Flusher Replacement Kit to replace the fill valve and flush mechanism in my toilet, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The kit comes with everything you need for a complete replacement, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The adjustable design made it simple to customize for my specific toilet model, and it fit perfectly. I was especially impressed with how quiet the fill valve is — no more loud, obnoxious refilling sounds. It’s also been working efficiently, and I haven’t had any issues with water running or leaks.Installation was a breeze! I had the old parts removed and the new ones installed in about 30 minutes, with no professional help needed. The quality of the parts feels solid and durable, so I’m confident this will last for a long time.Overall, this is a fantastic replacement kit for anyone looking to fix or upgrade their toilet’s internal components. I highly recommend it for an affordable and hassle-free fix!

This is a universal toilet fill valve for the most North American toilets. Installation is pretty simple, turn off water going into your toilet tank, flush the toilet, put a towel or trash on the floor under the fitting where the hose enters the bottom of the toilet tank, then remove the hose from the bottom of the tank. Remove the remaining nut on the bottom of tank and lift out the old fill valve. Adjust the adjustment ring on the new full valve so that the distance from the base to the top of the valve is the same as your old one, and the clean off the area where the new fill valve will go in the tank, and install it in the tank. Then reattach the house, tighten as necessary, and turn the water back on. Sometimes a pair of slip joint (channel lock) pliers come in handy if the old securing nut is stubborn, but often only an adjustable wrench is needed for the water hose connection, and everything else can be done by hand. This is a decently made unit, and will most likely last as long as any other full valve will, they all fail eventually after enough use, and this should hold up as well as any. It was easy to install, easy to adjust, and fit perfectly with no leaks first try. For the low price this is selling for, I can definitely recommend it. 5 Stars!

This universal flush valve is a functional replacement part for Gerber toilets.Design: The kit includes the flush valve, a white hose, a small red spray nozzle, and some very basic instructions. As a universal kit, it's designed to fit a range of toilet models. The valve features a threaded bottom for the water supply, a sealing ring with nylon tightening nut and washer, float, and shut-off arm. The hose connects to the top of the valve, with the nozzle at the other end.Size: The valve adjusts to fit refill tank heights between 8" and 13". The shut-off arm is about 4" long, and the hose is 10" long.Usage: One of my mid-2000s Gerber toilets had a sticky float that was taking far too long to drop and rise. After a few failed attempts to fix it, I decided to replace it. I shut off the water, drained the tank, removed the old valve, and cleaned the opening. I adjusted the new valve to match the original height and installed it. The under-tank nut tightened smoothly. The red nozzle, however, was problematic. It didn’t sit tightly on the overflow tube, partly due to the stiffness of the white hose and the angle I had to bend it. Part of the problem is that the adjustment knob on the nozzle interferes with the plastic clip portion, making it difficult to secure it on the overflow tube. This looks like a design issue. Unfortunately, the instructions are not clear about how this should be positioned for correct operation. When I turned the water back on, jets sprayed from the nozzle, mostly downward from the open end as intended, but also upward and sideways around the adjustment knob. I shut it off and tried to reposition it, but eventually gave up and reused the old hose and nozzle, which fit correctly. Once reattached, the toilet was back in operation. The float moves freely, and the tank refills and stops correctly.Final thoughts: Overall, the flush valve performs well and is priced competitively with similar universal flush valves. The main drawbacks are the nozzle design and unclear instructions.
