Easy to Wire

This keypad is designed and manufactured for it's purpose. It should be robust and handle the normal outdoor elements as well as handle criminals intent on burgling. The case isn't some wimpy plastic two piece design. It is hardened and made with only the cord as a weakness; however the cord should be installed properly and protected. This keypad should be mounted with a box and or a pipe that is in itself strong so the complete system combined is one hardened unit.Installation was quite non-explanational as you need four bolts on each corner from the backside. Included is some 4 conductor cable that is a tad longer than 15 feet, some mounting hardware you could use above, and two fobs and two testing RF cards. Versatile standard voltages of 12 / 24 can be used which can be AC or DC. This unit has an abundant amount of options or ways to wire it, program it and utilize it. I mean, for example, you can ONLY program 20,000 users; which means if you are as popular as Keanu Reeves you cannot provide enough pin codes for your visiting friends. You can select different brightness for the indicating LED and even the keys have adjustable brightness.I haven't gone through the whole manual due to the immense amount of different functions. The keypad is well worth the cost with its durability and build quality. It should last a lifetime; unless Keanu and several Agents get into some Matrix spat near your entrance.

This works pretty good, but after a power outage it wouldn't unlock the magnetic door. Which is generally good as long as no one needs to escape. It wasn't an emergency so we had time to work on the problem. It would be helpful if it included at least one fob that could open it. I just unplugged the whole unit to open the door, but it would be harder if I was stuck outside. This was just a test so everything worked out, but I am going to need to watch many more set up videos to get everything right. After I get this set up better, I'll adjust my review. I think I need more items at this price range.

I've wanted to update the keypad control on our Liftmaster gate controller for a while now. This is a very high quality, sealed controller that can easily be programmed with access codes and configured with fobs for touch-opening. The fobs were what I was interested in, as we have a few people that will come and go at times, and I'd prefer to configure a fob for them than a personalized code that I have to maintain. Installation was a breeze and it's very easy to work with. It includes two management NFC cards to add and remove fob access. The price is reasonable, and the quality exceeded my expectations. It includes a 4-wire cable to install it within about 15 feet of the gate controller.
