It’s thicker than the body of the mower it mounts to. Keep in mind that too much weight will damage the mower body.Bolted right up to my cub cadet zero turn.

It's thick and well manufactured paint looks nice the picture is how I used it on my cub cadet with it bolted to a hunk of 1 inch square stalk for clearances issues in my application

Perfect fit for my zero turn mower. I did have to drill out frame holes in order to use hardware provided but that was for the best. Once mounted, the unit is soundly in place. Used for tie down and trailering as well as towing if stuck. Highly recommend and will get another for my other mower.

This lined up with two of three holes on a Gravely ProTurn. Could have drilled to match the the third hole, but two is good enough.- djb

Bought this to add a ball hitch to my zero turn Hustler mower to be able to move around my empty trailer. I had to drill holes as expected to attach, which was not a problem. Definitely sturdy enough for an empty 10’ utility trailer.

This says universal but it almost didn't fit my John Deere zero turn. The slot could have been 1/8" wider for it to have fit perfect. I still made it work and it does what I need.
