This is a nice product from Curt. They provide you with everything you need besides tools to install this. It’s much easier to remove the clips holding the bumper plastic with a trim removal tool such as the Trim Pad Remover AT-TPR on Amazon. Otherwise, the clips can be removed with a couple different size standard tip screwdrivers if you’re very careful and take your time. I used screwdrivers and still broke one clip despite trying my best not to. I was able to do everything myself except reattach the bumper plastic as that was easier with two people. It’s not heavy just awkward to handle and easier with two people. There are several great YouTube videos that give you step-by-step instructions on this installation which are excellent. The best part with this model is that it can be completely hidden by a removable center plastic panel when not in use so you don’t have to see it if you don’t want to. The panel can be removed by taking out two clips in less than a couple minutes.

I installed this on my 2019 accent. Instructions were spot on, no issues with installation, extremely happy with product and usefulness. Some complained about the eyes for attaching chains, I've had not any issues in attaching the my change to the eye hooks.

This is a solid product that works great for our 2020 Subaru Ascent. It came with all the needed parts to install. Make sure to pick out your electrical light pack if you’re intending to tow a trailer. With two pop button holders the piece of the number that cover the hitch is easily placed back on. I’d also recommend getting the Subaru’s holder ( plastic holders ) that comes with the removal and replacement tool just because these little things are easy to misplace. Great install and now that rear number is solid along with having the ability to tow a trailer or use a rack to transport larger items like coolers, beach tents and such. Great workmanship!

The instructions were fantastic and easy to follow. You do have to have the tools to install but if you have them, installing is easy. Good quality product.

I bought this product after returning model 13400, as that model required some light body modification.However, this products' installation was identical to the installation video, which can be located on youtube by the manufacturer, CURT. The overall installation took 30 minutes, and I'm certainly no professional.There may be a bit of dried up dirt or debris that may drop from the bumper panel when removed, so take caution.Overall, a great product with a super easy install. Will update review once I start towing things!

Perfectly fit my 2021 Subaru Ascent. I downloaded the step by step instructions from YouTube on how to install it. Took me less than 45 minutes to install it by myself. It does not come with the electronic harness, that needs to be purchased separately If you want to connect it to your car's lighting system, to be legal on the road.

Installed one on my 21 Ascent, perfect, 90 minute install.New car, order another, lost in transitOrder another, damaged in transit, undeliverableOrdered a third, shows up with no bolts. I didn't notice missing bolt package until I finally got around to installing it.Two hour runaround at 4 auto parts stores, less than an hour install, now that I've done it once.
