While this works well for removing snow, the "ice scraper" portion is more of a squeegee than being suitable for scraping ice. It is not stiff enough to actually take frozen ice off of the windshield.It is packaged well, and the storage bag is nice.If you live in an area with mild temperatures, it would work well. If you live in northern Michigan, it is not sufficient to remove ice.

This is a little bulky if you just need something for super occasional use, but if you need something fairly often, this is a really nice brush and scraper combo. The unit is in three pieces which can fairly easily be disassembled for storage (and need to be in order to fit in the included bag), but could also be left assembled for quicker use if storage space is less of a concern. It feels like nice durable plastic and it's been great so far, so I'm hoping it will hold up for several years. I don't really plan to need it for heavy duty use, but I wanted to have something nice on had when needed. The included cloth is also a nice addition for wiping the windows after clearing off the big stuff. Overall, a bit bulky and maybe overkill for super light use, but nice to have on hand if you need something a bit more serious.
