This item did not stick to the wall well but it goes over the large multi plug unit so had to use "other" methods of keeping it attached since i could not afford to buy the good stuff.

I had trouble finding a box I could use outdoors that was deep enough to accomodate my electric car charger plug, and even this one doesn’t fully close over it, but it does protect it from the worst of the elements. I live in a snowy climate so I also add a plastic cover over it. The gasket works well. The four stars instead of five is that the adhesive does not adhere well enough on its own. So I epoxied it to the house.

This keeps my outlet outside from being rained on or accidentally squirted with the hose. No more tripping circuits and having to wait until it dries out

We had a large outlet in the garage where the switches have to stay on for the garage door and sprinkler system to work. This plastic cover is exactly what I needed to cover them both. The cover lifts easily if you want to turn the switches off.
