I imagine this provides decent security but it is really heavy and rather unwieldy to put in place and lock. It also adds a lot of perhaps unnecessary weight to your rig which slowly adds up to lower towing efficiency.

Lot heavier than anticipated. Bit awkward to put on first time, lock quality was better then expected and lower price then competitors. Nothing truly stop a theif but this will slow them down or deter them. Overall would purchase again.

Lock Box is very heavy duty a little tricky to get it all lined up could easily drop on your toes, be careful actual lock seems cheap light weight compared to the rest. This unit does not lock the chains would need to secure those separately with a heavy duty padlock I do how it’s an actual round solid 2 5/16 ball that locks into place as opposed to flat plates like some of the others . Good Price !
