Price seemed unusually low so it made the gamble easy to take. These batteries work just like name brand. Saw no difference in power ot length of time to complete task.

These batteries are trash, plain and simple. They're supposedly 6.0 Ah replacements for Ryobi 18V systems. Neither of them lasted as long as an official 2.0 Ah from Ryobi. Stick with the official stuff and ignore these obvious frauds.

Great value for the money. Strong charge and long life per use. The various Ryobi tools I have are mainly for DIY kind of tasking. But we do use them to help detail our cars and trucks with cordless drills with buffing, waxing, and polishing pads. So long run times needed as we tackle weekend car cleaning. Usually 1-2 recharges on both batteries over those weekends. So far, no issues at all. We've enjoy the enhanced performance they deliver as well as the cost savings these provided my family.

OK, these obviously aren't actually 6 amp hour. If you are reading reviews, you already know this. But these are at least equal to a Ryobi 4 amp hour, and probably a bit more, while costing half the price. I am very happy with the purchase and my edger runs great.

Bought these for use in several name brand tools which have very expensive replacement batteries. These work just as well and hold the charge. Would buy again

These fit Ryobi fine and work most of the time fine but I have had issues with both batteries dying and not charging (two or three times each) if I overload them on my 1/2 drill. The battery must sense overcurrent and battery management system (BMS) inside the battery will turn off the battery. If you push the battery charge level indicator it will show no charge and there will be no voltage between the positive and negative terminals and it will flash red if you place it on the charger. Basically the battery is unusable and trash for most people. If you are electrically inclined you can reset the BMS but naturally you do so at your own risk. The only way I found to correct the issue is to open the case and reset the BMS. What I noticed was the negative terminal on the top of the battery has about 1v of voltage on it with respect to the negative post of the actual battery pack and if I bleed that voltage off by shorting the negative terminal on the top to the negative post of the battery pack it resets the BMS and the battery charge light reads correctly and I can use the battery again or recharge it if it's low. Note: I would not suggest opening the battery if you are not absolutely sure what you are doing.

Used and recharged several times. Holds a charge as good as the name brand.
