Quick charging long lasting and powerful. I use this battery on both my Ego trimmer and my Ego leaf pack leaf blower. New batteries are typically better than old ones but these are really much more powerful than my original batteries. I'm very pleased.

Has worked perfectly so far. Lots of extra time on the weed whacker each use with this, at a substantial savings over the price of the OEM batteries.

Another 5 Amp EGO power battery replacement. It has a decent capacity, pretty close to the announced 5A. The case quality its a little lower than other secondary brands (and way far from the original ego power batteries)I did a quick discharge to check if they cells support than and it worked. I took it apart to check the BMS quality but I forgot to take pictures. The bms looks decent too. (it has one! which is important to start with...)What I dont like about these is that they dont come with the battery level indicator. Like the 5 / 6 led of the original batteries (and other replacement brands), this does not come with that. It has a LED with 3 colors that supposed when you press the button will be gree for 60%+ yellow for something between 25% and 60% and red under 25%. but it always showed green to me.Also when charging it, my charger "detects" the battery level and only blink the last %, like 75%. It starts showing that the battery is at75+% but then goes all the way to 0% and does the blinking like the battery is empty, which is little weird.Still half the price of the original one, and we know that even the original ego power batteries are having some issues.

I’ve gotten a lot of experience with off-brand EGO batteries over the past 5 years.I haven’t found any that hold the advertised charge as well as the EGO branded models. BUT… with the EGO selling for 2.5-3x the cost, it can be worth investing some time to find an alternative, especially if your project is limited in duration.This is where the battery gauge is important. The five-LED battery life indicator should give you a sense of how much more time you have.The description and pictures seem to imply that this unit has this feature… but it doesn’t. The battery light simply changes from green to red - so no way to tell if you have 30 minutes, or 3.Avoid this model.
