I bought this as a replacement battery for my Black &Decker yard products after the original rechargeable batteries wouldn’t hold a charge.Fit perfectly.They held a charge longer than my old batteries.Would purchase again.Reasonably priced.

I immediately noticed a drop off in performance when I switched from my Ryobi battery to this knockoff, which is likely from China. (I wish Amazon would make the country of origin required in the description since quality always seems to be man issues with Chinese made products.). I would strongly advice against buying this subpar battery.

I don't know what the negative reviews are about. I got it, charged it, started using it, and worked perfectly fine. Battery lasts a good length of time, and fits my drill just fine. Good battery, good price.

Came in time. As described. Charged it. Holds and keeps a great charge. Use it for my cordless black and decker drill. Glad I could still find one for my B&D. Not the sellers fault. But the replacement battery almost cost as much as the drill. Lol. But still happy with my purchase.

Rated the battery 5 stars only because it fit my Black & Decker Hedge trimmer without any hesitation. My B/D trimmer battery was accidentally left in my shed this last North Dakota winter and when I tried to revived it this Spring it didn't charged up. My trimmer is probably 5 years old or older so I didn't want to buy an expensive battery if the replacement battery didn't work due to other possible problems like the charger may have been damaged also by the cold weather. When the replacement battery arrived I made sure it was fully charged (I used a multimeter to make sure the battery was charged up to 18 Volt since the charger light was not properly working). The big test was to install it in my trimmer because I read in several reviews people had some difficulties inserting the battery in the slot. To my surprise the battery didn't give me any problem. I slid the battery in the slot and gave it a slap...now the real test is to see how it performs this summer. If I have an issue with this battery this summer I'll be sure to add an update.
