This sensor solved an issue of the furnace not engaging the burners due to a faulty sensor. Like many of the reviews before me, this sensor required filing down the connector to receive the stock male connector. Other than that, it works great and saved me the cost for a technician to come out, diagnose, and replace with a more expensive part.

The connector is wider than OEM; you will need to dremel it down to fit the connector. All 52W29 on Amazon are a little longer than original OEM. 3-3/4 vs this product 4 inch from bolt on plate to flame. It is ok to be a little bit longer because there is clearance.

Returned item. I was going to use this as a spare . I cleaned the original part and got the furnace to work. However even though this unit is stated as a replacement for my unit two things did not match. The spade connector at the top is wider than the original, necessitating the need to grind that piece of the part or jerry rig it to hook up the electric connection. Second the probe part is 1 " longer with the tip extending past the burner port. I decided to return the unit. If it worked after making the adjustment it would be a good value

This was a furnace part. Worked perfectly. Easy to install. The furnace companies will not sell you this part! They come and install it and charge you three times what the part costs! What a rip off. Glad I found it. Thanks.

Been running just fine for months now, I'm going to order another to have as a spare since flame sensors die once every year or 2 in my furnace. Apparently that's normal.
