This chair is the new favorite thing to play with at my house. Children from ages 2-15 were able to sit and twirl to their hearts content, or until their heads said No More! The chair's seat is a thick plastic that is sturdy and wide enough to accommodate bottoms and feet comfortably. Despite the size of the child there was no flex of the seat, and I'm sure it hold up well for a long time. The base is a fairly heavy metal frame with thick rubber feet that prevent it from sliding around despite the whirling dervish atop it. The chair has metal bits that 8 bolts go into giving it a very strong attachment, and the spindle has a good sized bolt that goes into the super smooth spinning baring. The angle of the chair makes it very easy for even the very young to get themselves twirling quickly around. This is an excellent addition to any home, childcare, or classroom that has someone that loves intense physical stimulation.

Wow! This was easy and real simple to assemble. It is strong and solid. Great quality. I tried this on my own being I’m small and let me just say as a grown up I was dizzy and my head was spinning after a dozen 360’s. This may be fun for autistic kids but personally it was not fun for me and I’m saying this in the most laughable way. It goes pretty fast as if I was on a roller coaster and it didn’t stop until I stopped it manually. Nice hand grip latches to hold on held up well and I didn’t feel as if I’d fall or fly off. The leaning design is quite interesting. Overall I think I this sensory swivel chair works great

Finally decided to pick one of these up for my 9 year old with ADHD. Specifically to help him in between breaks for school when he gets frustrated.I had read studies in addition to"- releasing energy- helping core muscles- balanceIt also helps:- improve focus/attention- reduce fidgeting- promote a sense of calming and regulating sensory input for individuals who benefit from vestibular inputMy son is 9 and 63lbs and fits perfect on this. He has used it every day for fun and loves it! It is low to the ground, the handles are easy to hold on to (and very necessary) and the spinner spins by using his weight, he can go fast but if he flies off, he is low to the floor and finds it to be hilarious. It actually worked for me at 5'5" & 130lbs (but after the 3rd cycle around I was ready to vomit...so I will never do that again lol!)Glad I finally took the plunge. It's a great tool & distraction as we homeschool and also just fun for my son.

Brightly colored and sturdy, easy to assemble. Immediately catches the eye of the toddler, as they begin to find Balance and to play with its saucer like moving base. It can be used just for a movement outlet for children or a comforting motion for a child with special needs. Just the right size for toddlers. The base is rather stable.
