I have to use both hand to use this tool and when closing it does cut through the metal I tested it with but opening is a HUGE pain and it does not want to open again making you fight with the tool to get it open with a lot of strength. The cutting part seems misaligned as well which I can't say for sure or not as I've never used one of these before. The saving grace is the tool's rubber handles making the fight a little easier and comfortable but if you're cutting something that curls make sure to have a 2nd person to hold or have a lot of clamps. For sure not an easy tool to use or makes the job quick, takes about 5x longer to me.
