I really enjoy this hitch cover. It fits well, looks great, and has held up through a mid-west winter so far.

This is a heavy and strongly built hitch cover. It did not come with the pin so make sure you have one for it. It came protected with a film on it that peeled off nicely once you got ahold of the corner of it as it is on there pretty securely. This looks great on the truck. My husband is a veteran and this looks great with his plates. He was pleased with the quality of this item and that it will protect his hitch over the winter months when not using the trailer.

Headline pretty much sums it up:This hitch cover is made of solid but rather light weight steel (at least that’s what it feels like - little to heavy for aluminum?); and semi-gloss very thing powder-coated: weighing only 12.5oz/ 352g. - It fits easily into the hitch, but not too loose, minimizing most of the rattle if the pin is locked. The raised lettering looks good. It comes with a very thin plastic film for protection I guess, which is extremely difficult to remove (I only recognized the film because one edge was a tiny bit lifted). It seems near impossible to peel off, so I’m going to leave it on until sun takes at it. The one likely weakness: how long will the coloring last on the letters. Updates will follow as needed.Solid 4 STARS for now-> (*RATE SCALE*: 5=perfect; 4=minor imperfections; 3=on fence; not sure if I’d buy again; 2= too many problems; 1= shouldn’t be sold or is dangerous).
