Motorized ball valves offer an energy-efficient alternative to solenoid valves, especially for prolonged positioning. They mainly consume energy during opening and closing, with negligible amounts once fully opened. This allows for permanent connection without the risk of overheating or burning out.

U.S. Solid Motorized Ball Valve
1" UPVC Ball Valve with Full Port, 9-36V AC/DC and 2 Wire Auro Return
This valve comes in upvc. It is 1” in diameter, and is full port. This means the diameter of the opening in the ball is a full 1”. If you are using this for a system where pressure is important, or with mixed materials, where restrictions on flow can lead to the separating of the material, a full-bore ball valve is your best option. These valves are not intended for situations where fast action closing or opening is needed, as they do take a few seconds to fully open and close.

Wiring your new Motorized Ball Valve
3 Wire
DC: Connect the yellow wire to the negative pole(-). The valve will open when the red wire is connected to the positive pole(+), and close when the blue wire is connected to the positive pole(+). Disconnecting any wire will maintain the valve's current state.
AC: Connect the yellow wire to any pole. The valve will open when the red wire is connected to the other pole, and close when the blue wire is connected to the other pole. Disconnecting any wire will maintain the valve's current state.

How to Install the Motorized Ball Valve?
This motorized ball valve features standard NPT threading, commonly used in U.S. piping. The tapered threading enhances connection sealing, requiring pipe thread tape for installation. Meticulously manufactured and tested, ensuring precise threading for straightforward installation. Apply pipe thread tape tightly to the male pipe end to facilitate a secure connection. Screw tightly into the valve to maintain a leak-free connection throughout its lifespan.

Needed a valve to control some (non-potable) water flow. My best other option was a standard issues sprinkler valve, but this valve is more durable, lower power, and shuts off faster, all of which are bonuses.Do be careful not to overtighten the fittings - a 12in crescent wrench and a long screw thread on the pipe allowed me to overtighten and break the first valve I bought. Entirely my fault. In retrospect I was impressed how hard I had to work to break it, and bought a replacement immediately.
