This is NOT for any serious trimming. Sadly it is only good for light work and the clippers break easily.

when it was working it worked great. unfortunately that only lasted for about 30 minutes. then the gear shaft snapped and they would no longer open or close. the biggest branch i cut through was a little under half an inch but that was not even when it broke so i dont know. i followed the instructions precisely and after making a special trip to the hardware store to get a special screwdriver (cause using common fasteners is lame) that was not included i discovered that the main shaft was sheared in two. its about par for the course from tools made in that part of the world based on my experience. i have since reached out to the manufacturer but i have not heard anything back yet. i will update my review if or when i do.
