This card came packed in an antistatic bag in a cardboard box. It has the standard and half-height PC risers. There's two USB-A superspeed (5Gbps) ports on the riser and you can break out another two from the USB 3.0 Superspeed 19 pin header to a Front Panel if you have one (breakout cable and front panel not supplied)Fitting was reasonably straightforward and the card was seamlessly detected by my Windows 10 PC.I tested one of the two rear USB-A ports using a Sandisk Ultra Dual drive. Running CrystalDiskMark gave a sequential data transfer rate of ~351MB/s (see pic). That's not bad for a flash drive rated at 'up to 400MB/s'. I then tried with a Samsung 990 Pro NVMe drive contained within a NVMe enclosure (10Gbps rated). I used a short, known good USB C-to-A cable to connect to the port being tested. Crystal Disk Mark gave a sequential data transfer rate of 389 MB/s (see pic). Given that the USB 3.x Superspeed 5 Gbps specification translates to a real world Data Transfer Rate of ~450MB/s due to protocol overheads, 389MB/s is not too bad.Shame there are no USB-C ports - which are increasingly necessary these days.Pros 👍:✔️ Two USB A 5Gbps ports immediately usable✔️ Two Further USB 3.x 5Gbps ports available if you have the cable/front panel✔️ Reasonable valueCons👎:❌ No USB-C ports❌ No breakout cable supplied for the 19 Pin headerIn summary, this is a good basic PCIe expansion card that gives up to 4 additional USB-A 3.x Superspeed 5Gbps ports and works well.
