Charges at 100w if you need it. This cable also works for display port over USB4 to my 1440p monitor at 165hz just dandy. Great price too. Check the length though. I didn't need anything long, but it may be too short for your set up.

I needed a 6-ft Thunderbolt cable to run from my OWC RAID to my Mac Studio. I originally purchased a cable on Amazon that touted Thunderbolt capabilities. Wasn't even recognized. Thought I might have to bite the bullet and pony up for the $50 OWC cable, cause I knew it would just work.But decided to try one more time and took a chance on this one. Hooked it up, and BAM - my RAID immediately popped up on my desktop. I do note it's "only" doing about 10Gb/s r/w (1.5GB/sec) according to the Blackmagic Speed Test. But I'm not doing 12k video, which is the only thing it failed at in the test. And I'm running it through an OWC Thunderbolt dock, which might be hindering some of the throughput.For what I'm doing (old school, professional HD videos in FCPX using motion graphics, color grading, etc.), it definitely does the job - for less than โ
the price of a "certified" Thunderbolt cable.

Thunderbolt 3, 4, and 5 cables are downward compatible with the USB-C standard. Additionally, Thunderbolt 4 is compatible with USB 4. If you need a cable that can work with a variety of different ports but donโt want to keep track of 3 or 4 cables, a Thunderbolt cable could be all that you need.

Difficult to measure actual speed but baby, these are fast on a USB-C, Thunderbolt 4 port.Used on ipad pro M4 to transfer precious data to files on ipad and back again for backup.Bought one for hubs and he transferred a couple of gigs in no time. But we both remember when it took an hour or more to transfer a gig. And my first Apple computer had a floppy disk and the first CD rom ever on that model. ๐ Back in 1994. When computers had maybe 230 MB hard drives.Great quality components, too. Price a bit painful. But will buy again.

Just got the cable, seems to work fine for now but I'm using it mainly for a monitor so I'm not sure about transfer speeds. I'll be testing it later to see how fast it is.

I like that I no longer have to use HDMI to connect my MacBook or Mac Mini to my monitor. This cable powers my MacBook, allows a video connection to my monitor, and is blazing fast. I love it.

Aunque las conexiones sean de plรกstico se nota lo apretado del acabado trenzado y la sensaciรณn de robustez que transmite.
