Nice package but very disappointing. Sometimes the USB A ports don't even recognize devices (like flash drives) when I plug them in. If I plug my speakers into the audio out (headphone) jack, I get static. I've tried 2 high quality audio cables with the same result. It's like it's picking up signals from the ports within the docking station. Very annoying! I would have returned the unit but I didn't actually start using the USB and audio ports until the return window had closed.

This docking station is very good. It has enough connections for me. Now my laptop can connecting with two monitors with HDMI and DP. I bought another one for my wife too. Used for more than one Month no problem till now.

With how few ports modern laptops have, I often find myself needing a USB hub- especially because I don't want to be manually unplugging and replugging multiple devices whenever I choose to go into the office.This adapter is good, in that it offers HDMI, USB-C power, USB-C, and 3x USB-A ports: enough for your charger, monitor, keyboard, and mouse, plus a spare. However, I am a bit confused at two things: firstly, why only two of the USB-A ports are USB-3 and one is USB-2, and secondly, the inclusion of the SD card slots, as I find it is better to have a separate dongle for SD card reading on the rare occasion I need said feature. Still, this is overall a good adapter.

Great item, does exactly what I wanted which is to transfer files from my micro sd card directly to an external hard drive via my mobile. No need to take a computer with me anymore.

This 8 in 1 usb c hub is a must have for any laptop if you don’t have enough ports. I use multiple monitors, headset, keyboard and mouse on my MacBook and this is super useful for extra ports. I also like the fact that this lets plug in usb a pen drive into my MacBook. Price is great for the versatility and usefulness of this product. Highly recommend.

Worked as advertised, please note if you have a plastic protective cover on it, it will not connect easily. But makes it so I can have two screens and a wireless mouse hooked up.

Update: The seller responded to my review by providing a replacement unit very promptly. For this reason alone, I’m updating to 4 stars.Owned since January. Observations: overheating, USB keyboard errors, occasional HDMI and DisplayPort signal loss. I do not recommend.

Just like others said, cannot get either one of HDMI ports working in Windows 11, granted, my laptop only has USBC SS10 (Asus VivoBook Flip 14) and that may be the problem. Other ports and Ethernet seem to work. Did not try the audio nor the SD card reader yet. Startech USB32HD2 video adapter connected to this "docking station's" USB port puts out 4k video on one monitor and 1080 on the other so -1 star for this product. One more -1 star is that their website (www.melelink.com) listed on the box is nowhere to be found, also their support uses outlook.com for email, just portrays a basement/garage kind of business that for sure just brand labels someone else's product. Thus 3 stars, that being generous as for the money, all I got is a USB hub with Ethernet, not a good value. Definitely cannot call this a "docking station" as it's listing claims. Keeping this for now but thinking of returning it and trying another docking station.
