MLEEDA USB C Switch allows you to share 1 monitor between 2 laptops. Easily switch between two computers with just one click, without unplug or plug cables.
If your monitor only has HDMI or DP ports, you will need a USB-C docking station with HDMI/DP ports.
If your docking station supports dual monitors, you can get multi-screen extension output with this USB C switch (this USB C switcher supports mirror and expansion modes). Note: MAC OS can only extend up to two identical screens.
Supports button switch and wired remote(1.5 meters), switching between 2 laptops takes approximately 4-7 seconds.
For USB-C monitor with built-in USB ports, simply plug the keyboard and mouse into the monitor, and the keyboard mouse can switch between laptops along with the video.
Supports resolutions up to 8K@60Hz,4K@120Hz and backward compatibility.

I tried multiple switchers before I landed on this one as it's the only unit that works with my LG 5k Ultrawide monitor and switching between two laptops. Highly recommend if you have a similar set-up.

Only works for Video, if you are trying to connect to a docking station, any other peripherals will not work over the KVM, only Video. This is only good for sharing a monitor, you still have to have 2 setups for everything else (Keyboard, Mouse, etc)This is not very clear with the description.

It does work, and the price is reasonable for a USB-C switch that handles video. The concern I have with it, which greatly limits the device's utility, is the fact that the cables that connect to the computers are hard-wired and are too short for my needs. I need to switch between a laptop and a desktop computer and there is no way I can stretch these cables between the two computers.
