This 5ft cord Is perfect for use in my 2018 Silverado. Way easier to route than the stock coiled cigar lighter cord.

The USB cord powers the radar detector as described and is a nice alternative to the 12v power plug (“cigarette lighter plug”) — especially if your vehicle only has USB outlets. It does not have a mute button that is on my original 12v cord but the radar detector itself has one (and it isn’t a feature I regularly use). Nice alternative power option. Another nice thing about it is that now I can use my 12 volt socket to power multiple items.

Great upgrade from the stock cig lighter plug that came with my radar. Freed up a whole port. Works good. Highly recommend
