Loved the look of this leather handle even though it was more red than the original on my father’s WW II vintage Truetone portable radio, which had been replaced with twine.I used liquid and paste shoe polish to a change the red to a brown like that of the brown leather covering on the radio. However installing the handle was somewhat tricky as the original had been rivited through wood to the top of the radio. Had to use a long reach “C” clamp to firmly compress the new rivit through the back of the radio…a little wood glue gel some splinters in place after riveting.Looks like the original now!!!

Cheap looking plastic handle.

Handle arrived quickly and was nicely made with nice hardware. I used T-Nuts and machine screws instead of the provided wood screws as they are more appropriate given the weight of a combo amp. Looks every bit like the original handles on tweed style amps. Pleased with this purchase.
