Wasn't sure what to expect buying an off brand tool, but the price was right. Upon unpackaging the tool, I saw two issues right off bat. The prongs weren't parallel with each other and the prongs weren't even with each other. After I bent and filed the prongs the tool worked fine.

These work. The "pins" on the tips of the pliers are a little messy, not perfectly round, but I cleaned mine up with a small file and now they work just as good as ones that cost 3x as much.

I tried to use universal snap pliers but none would work for a tough snap ring. These got the job done.

The tip of the tool cam out of the box bent, I decided keep it because it still works as expected even with the bent tip. Hence the 3 stars

These don't work. To start with, one point is slightly bigger than the other, meaning they couldn't even make them consistent with each other. But the bigger issue is that both points are too big to actually be usable on clamps.
